Duck Goose helps families coordinate childcare with people they already trust. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

When you sign up for Duck Goose and use the service, we collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• Household information you add — co-parents, children's first names and ages, and the people you invite to join your household or your trusted sitter list

How we use it

We use the information you provide to:

• Create and maintain your account
• Help you coordinate childcare with the people in your household and your trusted network
• Send SMS invitations when you invite someone to your household by phone number
• Send push notifications and email about activity in your account (requests, invitations, responses)

SMS Messaging

Mobile opt-in information and SMS consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Specifically:

• SMS messages are sent only when a Duck Goose user initiates an invitation to a specific phone number. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Recipients can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any Duck Goose SMS. Reply HELP for help, or contact support@getduckgoose.com.
• SMS invitations are routed through a telecom provider (Twilio); your phone number is shared with that provider only as needed to deliver the message, never for the provider's own marketing use.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. The information you share with Duck Goose stays within Duck Goose, except where strictly needed to deliver the service — for example, SMS invitations are routed through a telecom provider, and email is sent through an email delivery provider.

Deleting your data

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing privacy@getduckgoose.com. We'll confirm receipt within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days.
